about

Apostle Leroy systematically teaches the unadulterated Word of God with power that destroys ignorance, racism, poor self-esteem, and drives away poverty and religion. He is committed to taking God’s Word to a hurting and lost generation with efforts to build people of Purpose, Wholeness, and Potential.

In 1971, he graduated from Central Technology Vocational Center and married his lovely wife, Hestina Robinson. They have three sons, three daughters, two daughter in-laws, two son-in laws, and seven grandchildren. All of their children work in the ministry.

Apostle Legette has experienced first hand how poverty, racism, poor self-esteem, religion and ignorance destroys people. It has become purposed in his heart to bring the “good news” of Jesus Christ to all people, tearing down barriers, and helping individuals find their Purpose, Wholeness and Potential.

Apostle Legette faithfully attended Gospel Temple COGIC, under the late Pastor Heard Seals, Sr., serving as Local YPWW President, District President, and Youth Pastor. In 1978, Apostle Legette received his minister’s license. Seven years later, he was ordained a Reverend. In 1986, he became a member of Agape Victory Christian Church and World Outreach Center under Pastor Charles Wood, III. While serving he was Home Cell Director, Elder, and Bible schoolteacher. It was then that he felt the call of God to minister to inner-city communities of Syracuse, New York.

In 1991, Faith By Love Family Worship Church was unveiled on Easter Sunday Morning with the intention of birthing the promises of God in people’s lives, providing many services to aid the believer to grow spiritually in the Word of God.

In 2007, Apostle Legette was inducted with sonship to Bishop Reginald McGill, New Life Fellowship Church, Rochester, NY.
